The White Man may finally get a blame break from the social ills
that plague black America.
As with everything detrimental to mankind, blacks
always seem to get the worst end of the deal. The pendulum of
responsibility for everything wrong with black America may be
swinging, though.
Since the civil rights movement of the late 1950s, the
white man has been credited with the downfall of black America.
From the rise in the prison population of black males to the decline
in black reading ability, it was the white man’s entire fault.
The invention and introduction of crack cocaine into the ghettos all
across this country was all the white man’s doing, too.
Teenage pregnancy among black girls, he played a big
part in that. The proliferation of gangs and gang violence is
all the white man’s doing. Let’s not forget the credit he
deserves for bringing the AIDS epidemic to the black community.
Take a good look at black America over the past 40
years. Look at what the white man has done. The
unemployment rate and lack of job readiness skills of blacks is
higher than any other ethnic group. AIDS and HIV incidents are
higher amongst blacks. Blacks make up 12 percent of our
general population, but over 80 percent of the prison population.
Blacks are more likely to be overweight than non-blacks.
Blacks make less in salary on average than whites in every industry
except rap music and sports. Blacks score lower on
standardized testing than every other ethnic group. It was all
the white man’s fault.
Alas, white man, you can breathe a sigh of relief
because you may be off the hook soon. There is a new and greater
danger than the white man to the failure and demise of black
America. It’s gay marriage.
That’s right. According to some black sources,
legal gay marriage is a greater threat to black Americans than AIDS,
gangs, guns, drugs, unemployment, and poor reading ability.
Yes, some black purveyors of morality claim that the black family
will be destroyed by the legalization of same-sex marriages.
Never mind that 70 percent of black households are
headed by single females. Gay marriage will further erode the
black family because the 30 percent of black families with a male
and female will suddenly divorce and opt for the latest fad.
The latest statistics show that 96 percent of violent
crimes committed against blacks are committed by blacks. If
gay marriages become legal, that rate will jump to 100 percent black
on black crime. The proliferation of gangs in the black
communities will also increase if gays are allowed to marry.
Reading abilities of black students will drop, illegal drug use will
rise, and teen pregnancy will go through the roof if gays are
allowed to marry.
Why is ignorance and homophobia so rampant in the
so-called black leadership? According to one black expert,
four in ten black men are on the “down-low.” Down-low is a
term for black men in “committed” relationships with women; these
black men also have sex with men, but do not classify themselves as
bisexual or homosexual. Other reports state that just over one
black male in ten is gay. Couple those numbers with the number
of black men in jail who are unavailable to form a black family.
How much further can the black family be destroyed by gay marriage?
So, you can rejoice now, white man. The decline
of black America is not your fault anymore, and it is never, ever
black America’s fault. We may soon have someone else to blame
– gay married couples.
The whole marriage debate is moot, anyway. We
have always had two definitions of marriage: marriage involvement
and marriage commitment. More are involved than committed. And
that is a matter of public record. |
